The R Baby Foundation is a revolutionary charity organization saving infants’ lives by improving pediatric care, and to date, has given $8 million to hospital programs and saved more than one million lives. The nonprofit’s annual tennis tournament was formed back in 2010 by Jason Pinsky, “Six years ago I saw the foundation was doing a golf event, and I suggested we should do a tennis event,” he notes. “The first year was sort of a test and it went well, and the demand has been high ever since. We bring together a great group of competitive guys for a great cause.” Dmitry Druzhinsky notes that the Foundation has raised over $500,000 in 2015 and 2016, going towards initiatives including telemedicine with pediatric experts, mobile simulation training programs, and more.

On Saturday, April 16, MatchPoint NYC again hosted the R Baby Foundation’s annual tennis tournament fundraiser. The establishment’s co-founder, Dmitry Druzhinsky is satisfied to announce at least $250,000 was raised at the event, which saw tennis professionals alongside Wall Street’s leading financers.
Last January, local legislators and officers got together in Dmitry Druzhinsky’s
MatchPoint NYC to augment cognizance for social issues and participate in the Johnny Ray Memorial Pro Wall Ball Tournament. According to the co-founder, Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams and Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. led an agreeable cross-town competition in order to incorporate inner city and needy children in physical activity. Along with the enthusiastic play, the encouraging leaders discussed the influence sports have for public health and the enablement of the youth.
