In April of 2016, MatchPoint NYC was pleased to host the 6th annual R Baby Foundation Tennis Tournament. The event occurred in the center’s spacious indoor facilities, and both professional tennis players and Wall Street’s foremost financers competed. The R Baby Foundation, America’s chief and only nonprofit organization with the mission of saving infant lives through the improvement of pediatric care, has donated over $8 million to hospital programs and helped save more than one million lives. MatchPoint NYC was also selected as the venue in 2015 for the 5th annual tournament, and Dmitry Druzhinsky was happy to announce that in those years more than $500,000 was raised and donated to childcare initiatives, telemedicine with pediatric experts, mobile simulation training programs, and symposiums. “They are amazing to work with,” said Darren Port, CEO of Powered by Professionals and one of the runners of the competition, “He [Druzhinsky] has really gone out of his way to invite us to work with them, and that has helped make the event really special in the two years we have had it here. The foundation does a phenomenal job of keeping its expenses low to ensure that the money raised goes towards the cause, and MatchPoint’s generosity helps make that possible.”
Dmitry Druzhinsky, co-founder of the lavish health and fitness complex MatchPoint NYC, recognizes the encouraging effect philanthropic actions can have on a society in need of help. By mediating with local charities and public welfare plans, the entrepreneur offers key support for schools, hospitals, and at-risk youth. Druzhinsky suggests that by giving his free time, services, and resources, sizable number of lives across New York City can be improved.
The extravagant sports center was co-founded by Dmitry Druzhinsky in 2013, after finding a scarcity of recreational infrastructure in the area. As a consequence of his dedication to club’s members, employees, and the community, the complex has swiftly become the favored venue for families, expert athletes, and cause related charity events. “They are great to work with,” said Darren Port, CEO of Powered by Professionals and one of the runners of this year’s tournament, “He has gone the extra mile to invite us to work with them, and that has helped make the event memorable in the two years we have held it here. The foundation does an excellent job in retaining its expenses marginal to make sure that the funds raised goes towards the cause, and MatchPoint’s helpfulness helps make that possible.”
